Good afternoon everyone, I'm a new member and in the beginning stages of my Tacoma build. I'm going for a clean subtle high end look, with great attention to minor details without what I would consider as overdoing it.

Currently I have changed the rear decal from red and black to a silver and black decal, all badges are matte black and the wheels are Titan7 T-ak1 Forged in the Titanium Satin color wrapped in 265/70r17 Yokohama X-AT. This Wednesday I will replace all the wheel studs to a 1/2" longer stud, and mount identical but 1.5" wider fender flares to make for a flush finish.

The Yoko tires are a huge improvement over the originals, I did take a 2 mpg hit though, but I can live with that. I haven’t had a chance to run them through anything substantial yet, but for a medium difficulty trail weekend warrior I’m confident they’re plenty sufficient.

I was going to install the studs today, but they’re taking longer to arrive than I originally expected. I got them off Wheeladapter.com/product/extended-wheel-studs-for-toyotas $63.99 set of 24

I planned on replacing them today, but the shipment got delayed until tomorrow. Hopefully I can find time after work tomorrow, but realistically with the baby, etc, it’s more than likely a weekend job along with the extended wheel studs. I’m hoping they are truly close to stock with just an 1.5” widening as described on eBay. It was surprisingly difficult to find something without bolt holes like the bushwaker design, in the same finish as stock. Don’t get me wrong, bushwakers are cool, just not the look I’m going for in this build though.

Nice man, thanks for the link.

Forgot to ask, are your Yoko load E or SL?

I got load E, so they are probably quite a bit heavier than the stock tires, which I don’t believe are load E, but I could be mistaken.

Hopefully I can put the 5th wheel underneath where the stock spare went originally. I have to find a way to mount it that won’t scratch up the new wheel.
