    ARE CX bed topper
    Hello all new member here,
I have a 2009 TRD double cab and I recently decided I want to put some money into it as I don’t see myself ever getting rid of it. It is my daily driver but I also use it in the outdoors (hunting mainly) and I would also like to camp out of it. I have an ARE CX bed topper on order but I’m wondering what are some must have Tacoma upgrades that you all have done?

I wish I would have gotten them 1st. :annoyed: Was the 1st thing I bought for my wife when she got her CR-V.

Does not matter who you are, or what you are using the truck for. You need them.

American Auto Horns Group Buy - search this forum for the string and get your name on the next group buy. Looks like 2 group buys per year. I did the Park Avenue (A-C-D-F). 4 horns. Sounds awesome and beats the wimpy stock 2007 horns.

Start with a bed mat so your shit doesnt slide around. A bumper with a winch, seat covers to protect your seats from mud, blood etc. Tires if the ones on it are street only.

stay away from go fast mods. Its a truck, not a porsche.

I've done quite a bit to mine, but I don't think I could live without the backup camera

Make sure all of your maintenance is up to date. All fluids changed as/if needed. Belt checked. Brakes checked. MAF and TB cleaned.

Good catch. My truck did not come stock with a backup camera but all the wiring was already integrated from the factory. For $100 or whatever it was for the actual camera itself... 100x over worth it.
