I wanted to try to get my winch fully installed today but ran into some issues with it, I had to clock it and for some reason was unable to get it back together. It seem like everything was cocked inside the housing, so I took it apart and found the sun gear just laying in there, once I got that back in place it went together perfectly fine. I got it mounted and one of the bolts that mounts it to the bumper was a little messed up and I ended up messing it up even more trying to get it to start, so I’m gonna have to order another mounting nut and bolt.

Im also going to need to get a bigger battery, battery now is 5 years old and not the right size recommended with the winch. So I’m not going to wire the winch in until I get a better battery.

I did get my matched grill installed. Pretty happy with the results!

I will be at the electric site and will be at an electric site because as @Naveronski likes to say now... I am Boujee... I also enjoy the finer things in life, like a blender for making margaritas, a fan for cooling, and hell, maybe even a disco ball.

The Miata is always part of the crew.

How is it a Shaggin Wagon?

I would say just wait until Jambo to see its even better form, but you won't be there to enjoy Cantina de Tierra Roja

You took your lady friend on the initial deployment of Cantina de Tierra Roja and didn't perform a full test of the suspension? Disappointed. You afraid you'll be accused of shooting first like Han?

Apparently he went to 4 Wheel Parts and said give me one of everything. I would have expected a larger exhaust tip though.

If you can't stick your head in the tailpipe it's not big enough. How else are you supposed to inspect that big ole ass?!

Got everything bolted back up, need to do some minor trimming around the right stick before I can bolt the console back down. Replaced the foam insterts on the console while I had it apart. Sticks push down and pull up in order to shift. Have a factory cover that can cover/hide the sticks, as well. After a day of driving, noticed I’m leaking ATF, so need to break it back down and see what/why. Ordered an OEM seal, instead of the NAPA, so will swap while I have it apart either way.

Brought it over here to not clutter the other thread.

This is the foam cannon I use, it's amazing for the price and works just as well as my friends $100 foam cannon from chemical guys.
