A brief intro i guess... I just got my dads old 2013 TRD sport 4 door (double cab?) with the long box, 130k on the clock, all original aside from the OME leaf springs I installed in the snow last weekend. I'm a metal fabricator by trade, and not half bad with a sewing machine, hopefully in the next few months I'll be able to show off some unnecessary goodies I'm building.

Oh for sure. No point building unnecessary things if you cant show them off. Well I guess here's a teaser of whats to come, still in the design stage so it might/will change a bit.



Its going to have a "canvas" cover but I don't know how to render that. The mounts will run around the bed (i get the impression the sides of the bed arent overly strong). Rear flood/reverse light mounted in the top bar. Last but not least it can open so I can still load the bed with a front end loader, with a brace to help reduce load on the one side.

I'm down for suggestions/comments/concerns, I've never built anything for trucks so I'm guessing I've probably missed something.

@tacoma16 if we direct extra funds from the club to @Norilsk so we can use his truck to clean up black loop more efficiently than having like 16 trucks getting stuck on that trail.
