Just looking to remove the secondary filter from my taco to see how it performs after and too see if I can get a few more mpgs and power. Does anyone know how to do this on a '01 2.7L? Basically, where is it located? I have 265/75 mud terrains and a 3" lift and would like a little more when I pull my boat and on acceleration and I hear the 4cyl benefits from this

It would be located in the top half of the factory air box. But as whippersnapper said, not sure if you would even have one in your truck.

put a supercharger to it, that will twist the boat around!
