Engine noise help!!

    Truck loses all power after about 15 minutes of driving. If I turn off the truck it will drive for a short distance. After it cools down it drives fine for another 15 minutes. Cant figure out what the problem is.
    Not sure if the check engine codes are related to the engine noise.
    Codes P0172, P0136, and P2196

    Does the truck overheat or run hot at all? Honestly to me like it could be a problem with the alternator; Definitely something electrical if it isn't overheating...
