New member... I've always enjoyed reading the threads and finally decided to get off my butt and join.
I had to replace my 2006 Tacoma Sport but I got 309K+ miles out of her before I did. Just purchased a 2020 Tacoma Sport, Cement Grey with the Long Bed. Now I'm searching for the OEM Hard Cover Tonneau for this one. I live in Massachusetts so if there is someone in the surrounding area wanting to sell one, let me know. Thanks

Why not go aftermarket? There are plenty of covers out there that perform as well if not better than oem and are less expensive.
I for one went with the mx4.

Good to know. This is another reason why I posted... wanted some users of other aftermarket hardcovers, to give recommendations.
How long have you had the mx4... any issues so far?

Have had if for almost a year. Finish is holding up great but like many others have reported, it is not fully water proof.

I just found one on craigslist for $100! Someone bought a 2020 Tacoma from the dealer with a tonneau. He didn't like it and pretty much gave it to me. I'm pretty impressed with the build quality and functionality of the OEM cover.

I'm not normally a tonneau cover kind of guy but my Snugtop Rebel was sent back to Snugtop for repairs (my fault). This will stay on through the winter.

If you want to sell it, I just bought a 2020 Tacoma 6ft bed and need a cover. I really want a OEM one.

    Tonnaue cover. Yakima rack
I went with a ReTrax because I bought the Yakima rack system and it is the only cover that supports that rack.

It’s expensive but strong. I had to add silicone sealant on the sides, but now it doesn’t leak. It has a canister that the aluminum slats roll into.

The canister takes up some space. They provide tubes that run from the bottom of the canister and I had to drill holes through the front of the bed so they can drain outside.

so, I’d call it a trade-off. It locks well and my tailgate locks, so my fly rods should be safe, but it does take up some space in the bed.

I couldn’t find another rack that would allow a cover with the rail system bed of the 2019 Tacoma.
