Government inspection en route to dealer?

    Being AG the gov most likely thought it was one of theirs being stolen.

    So once they run the vin and comes back civilian, the driver is allowed to proceed.

    Happens more often then you think. I even had it happen with my QS.

    my neighbor was moving cross country and wanted to have his car transported. he was told by the carrier that he couldn't have any boxes or bags in his vehicle to 1) help reduce weight of the carrier and 2) to make random truck inspections quicker at weigh stations. wonder if that is what happened.

    Also, most of these are coming in from mexico now. 2016 TRDOR was made in Texas. 2020 was made in Baja. Maybe there are random stops, ala los pollos hermanos delivery trucks.
