    Have one. A 19 420 4x4.
The Honda is best for farm use. The kodiak and grizzly do better off roading/wheeling.

Being we have both a 19 450 kodiak and 19 420 rancher, they both have there +/-. The Honda motor is so smooth. The transmission in the 420 gives great torque. The 420 is a little faster than the 450 but they both top out at the same.
The one big complaint we have with the Honda is it is hard to shift when cold. Other than that, works great for doing work.

Big mod. Quick fist. Mounted my little shovel to the basket.

Next on the list, getting ready to wire up a led light bar. Just trying to find a switch I want to use and where to mount the switch. If anyone has any ideas on that, do let me know.

@Mikeybuck Nice! I’m glad I found this thread. Any updates on the Kodiak?

Any recommendations between the Rancher and Kodiak for a first time ATV buyer strictly looking to ride a few trails, dirt/gravel roads with family for recreational use?

For wheeling, kodiak, unless you can find a good deal on a honda Rubicon or Yamaha grizzly. Both are good machines.

Only up dates to mine is a warn winch, some busted plastic and ripped CV boot lol.
