New (to me) Tacoma Questions

jbrandt thanks for the info. I have a 95 with a solid frame, just had the timing belt done. I know about the rust issue. While the Prerunner Idea make a lot of sense, I am just not up for that much wrenching anymore. I can do ball joints, tie rods, coil overs, shocks but that is about where I draw the line.

 

With a big enough checkbook and a willingness to wait, yeah, I'm sure you could do whateverthehell you wanted.

Would probably be cheaper to just get one off the lot and swap the trans, though.

 

Just be patient then, you'll find one. You may just need to travel to find it. Lots of people will buy a 1 way plane ticket and drive it back.
