Who needs a locker for paved roads?

 

Never heard of $2,500 deductible.

Hell my house, truck, and bike are all $500 deductible.

 

if you plan on doing this often... dont fix it. invest in some touchup paint and have fun.

 

Mall crawling does get challenging sometimes.

Looks like a good time to upgrade to fiberglass bed sides, fenders and 35's.

 

He's in MN, and it's a no fault state. Insurance is crazy high there.

 

My thought on insurance is that most of the time you pay more in than you get back. If that wasn’t the case, the insurance company would be bankrupt. It’s cheaper to save the money and pay for stuff yourself. However, there are cases where you cannot afford to pay yourself, e.g. terminal cancer, totaling a 30k truck, etc...

I obviously lost the bet this time, but I won the bet on every other car I’ve owned.

 

Thats not trail damage, that's I don't know how to drive damage. I wouldn't bother fixing it because you'll likely just mess it up again.

I know it's a repost but it is accepted everywhere in 3rd gen. Like Visa!

 

Glass fenders and rattle can paint? Probably cheaper than the 2500 deductible and you wont' have to feel bad when you bang those up in the future.

 

Oh yeah, great point. And it has a snorkel, that means it is amphibious. It has tires that are q rated. We can take it to the track.

The reality is you can believe all the marketing hype you want. That means nothing to a tree or a 100 ton block of granite.

 

Also if it makes you feel better here is my first trail damage, granted not a new truck but still I wasn't worried about it and just threw a new $70 (knock off ebay) fender on there and called it a day.

 

Ouch that hurts , but hey fuk it was gonna happen eventually. You got the dents already get armored N lifted and enjoy the hell out of it as long its mechanically sound..

 

But, it's not a snorkel.....

 

Damage sucks, but I'm glad to see someone actually using and OR for OFFROAD use

 

There is a difference between taking your truck offroad and randomly crashing into trees with a brand new truck....

 

Fix it and exocage it!

 

At least you got the highest deductible possible to go with your tame driving
