Mine is a 19 3.5 6mt so I'm not sure if it's comparable but mine engages like 3/4 of the way out

2017 here. The clutch engagement is at the top half of pedal travel for me too.

Honestly I kind of like the high engagement once I got used to it, little bit more slippage can be nice

The engagement point is quite high in my truck too.

Super high, almost at the top of the clutch throw. I have a 19 Pro 6sp MT. It's kinda annoying.

You can adjust the pedal down, but not by much. There is a thread in here that explains the procedure (per the shop manual). Will try to find and link to it...

Dunno whether it's normal, but it's sure common place. Higher than any other Toyota model I've driven.

My 2019 OR is 3/4 of the way. Don't know if this is a relevant comparison, but my old Lexus SC300 is also 3/4 of the way up on the clutch as well. My American cars that are standard transmissions are right on the floor.

Yes, my 2019 OR MT is exactly the same way. I am going to do a more thorough test this weekend, but I am betting there's at least 5" of nothing off the floor until engagement begins. If so, I am going to look for a way to adjust it.
