I'm waiting on @medic2230 to have some free time so we can deal with welding up the front part of a frame.

I've got plans to grab an access cab frame from a Toyota dealer for $50 on the 23rd(they're holding for me). The front end is no good.....which works out great since I plan to cut it off anyway :D

Ran up to Bowling Green, KY to grab an access cab frame. It was a from a truck that had a frame replacement. The rusted part was around the motor mount(which I cut off anyway). I'm happy for the $50 it cost me.

I'm hoping to run by the pull-a-part tomorrow and grab the rear shackles and spare tire mechanism.

Just picked up some rear shackles in the sales section. Gonna take the frame this coming weekend to the guy that did my Comanche trailer and get the tongue welded up. All I need now is axle, wheels, tires, tail lights, wiring harness, interior bed rails, clamps for the shell, and a rear bumper.

Ok Phillip, I'm here! lol Looking forward to your Tacoma trailer bed build! I think I have enough content to start a build thread of my own now too!

That's what I'll do with my thread as well. Document all the maintenance and stuff I've done so far. Suspension kit is coming soon, so I'll probably start my build thread after it has been installed. I'll move all of my offroading videos there too!

I figured it would be a bit more rugged than a pop up...…...and A LOT cheaper than a true offroad camper. I should be in it less than a used popup by the time I'm done.

My wife and I want to go out to Moab one day. We planned to go out there about 10 years ago, but had a death in the family at the time, so that trip was cancelled. I have a friend that lives in Ogden, UT, so we are going to go meet up with him and his family while we're out there wheeling in Moab! I want to climb Hell's Gate!

Last year was my first time out. I plan to make it a yearly thing now. It was incredible.

My neighbor has a Jeep and he goes out there quite a bit with a bunch of Jeep guys, and says that it is an awesome time! I believe him, from all the videos I've seen!

Those are far and few between
Top of the World was my favorite. I was surprised how well my stock suspension did out there. I had some great spotters.
