It's a nice day out and I figured I'd install the bed cleats. Not to be found anywhere. Looked behind the seats, in the bed cubby, and glove compartment. Nothing.

I assumed they would come with a TRD OR 4x4. Not a happy camper!

Assuming new, they would have come in a clear bag. I believe they were behind the seats, but this was 4 years ago so my memory could be off.

    Lame.

Should have came with them. Take it back to the dealer if you bought it new.

My sport came with them. Still in the plastic bag in the access door cubby. Not installing until needed as I hear they are easy to steal.

Mine were already installed when i bought my truck new. I bet some tech has a whole bottom toolbox drawer full of them. It's his weed fund, he sells on eBay

Mine were either in cubby behind seat or under seat.

    I'm an IDIOT.

They were in the storage bin under the rear seat cushion. Installed in 5 minutes.
I better remove them as anyone can get them off and be Gone in 60 Seconds.

Welp, if you didn't get them with the truck, just buy some t-nuts for the rails, and matching bolts. The OEM tie-downs are neat but a little over-engineered. I like them because they were "free," but I wouldn't pay for them (t-nuts are like a couple dollars and pretty versatile).

That's where I found mine after I complained and got another full set from the dealer. Now I have cleats all along my bed rails lol.

We will consider this a learning experience. :pout:

At least it reminded me of where I can keep some spare beer and ammo in case of an emergency.

I like the aluminum ones. They have to be slid off the end to remove. Makes it so you can put something in to keep them from being removed.

My Sport didn't have them and when I mentioned it the salesman grabbed a bag out of another truck. You didn't buy that truck did you?
