I’m kicking around the idea of trading my Taco for a 4Runner. I’m running 2nd gen taco 6112s in the front and was wondering if they will fit a 4Runner if I pull them prior to training it in. I have a set of JBA UCAs waiting for install that I hope will also fit the 4runner.

Anyone have any experience with this?

You'd need to change the lower strut bushing out for the wider ones that a 5th gen uses, or risk some slop there.

Otherwise, the fronts would bolt in, just may have difference in lift heights.

Tacoma's and 4Runners use a different ball joint on the spindle which aren't interchangeable. I'd call JBA and ask them if you can just get new joints or if you have to do the whole arms too.
