I installed my new KC HiLites fog lights & did the @piercedtiger fog light anytime mod. The Amber Gravity G4s give so much more light and spread than the factory ones & they look cool too.



@crashnburn80 I appreciate your technical reviews on many of the fog lights. It definitely helped me make a decision.

Saw this and wondered why they were diferent. E paz informed me thats how they come from factory. Hopefully i loaded this pic right. These are mine i just did few days ago. 92k miles. Truck is new to me bought it this spring with 62k. I installed all new denso. The ngk didnt hold up as well as the denso it looks like.

Got several things lined up for this weekend. My Tacoma 4wd actuator has been acting up so I’m going to try to remedy that this weekend since the rain has decided to take a break. I got it to engage 4hi when the temps were really cold in the morning. I couldn’t get it to engage when it warmed up. So since I need to check that out I figured I’ll change the diff oil front to rear in both the Tacoma and go ahead and tackle the FJ as well. I need to get the grease gun out and hit some of my suspension. Hopefully locate some noise/rattle I’m hearing when leaving the drive. My guess it’s some rubbing with my tires. All you guys changing spark plugs have me wondering about mine.

 

Check all the hinges and the interior window seals other than that. If it’s the same color as your truck that’s a decent price. If it’s not I’d wait for the next that matches your truck.

Cool project. I was watching your progression on the NOVA thread. Once you got past the removal of all the spring hangers it should have been fun

 

Removing all the mounts was the only bad part and took longer than everything else. It has been a lot of fun!
