Request for assistance! So of all my completed or planned upgrades the one that seems to have the most options is the suspension.

    95% highway and 5% Offroad

tow a 16’ travel trailer @4000lbs fully loaded

400lb tongue weight but use good WDH

looking for good ride with enough lift to accommodate 33” Tires but able to handle extra weight. Planning a low profile winch bumper

was looking at the ARB OME kit which is around $1500 ! Thoughts , suggestions, things to avoid?

The OME kit is good though there have been complaints about the Dakar leaf packs. You could also look into a Deaver leaf pack which is one of the best you can get.

Many people use airbags for towing so that is an option as well.

Fitting a 33” tire will come with the most caveats since it will depend on what type of 33”, what your wheels and backspacing is, offset, etc.

A 255/85 can fit without rubbing, a 285/75 or similar may require some extra work with alignment, fending molding, possible CMC etc.

Simply speaking a lift doesn’t guarantee tire fitment.

I LOVE my Dakars (medium). Deavers are more $$. Dakars really made the truck feel much more solid. Less squirrely in the turns. Way better on the dips. Truck does not bottom out nearly as easily.

No problem towing a slightly lower weight with my HD Dakars. I max at around 3500#.

Thats an HD OME pack hauling 2200# in the trailer, and 900# in the bed.

Not a very good side by side, but you can see it sagged some.
