I'm handy in general, but I definitely like to ask people that know more than I when it comes to wiring. Better safe than sorry.

Anyways, I have a rear facing light bar and would like to have it go on when I put the cargo light to the on position (I leave it in the off position normally).

Instead of running the red light bar wire (positive) to the battery, could I safely tap in to the off/door/on cargo light switch instead? And if so... which wire do I tap in to? I think it may be green #14 as some bed lights get tapped in to that, but I'm not 100% sure either. Again.. better safe than sorry.

    Thanks in advance

Correct, tap the wires behind the driver’s side kick panel as shown here:
