New member here but not to Toyotas. I bought my first truck, a 1980 4x4 in 1982. Drove that until 1995 when I bought a 1994 SR5 Extra cab 4x4. I drove that until about a month ago when I purchased my first new vehicle, a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport with 6 speed manual transmission and am loving it!. I drove my personal vehicles around 600,000 miles between the two of them. A former employer used Tacoma's for field personnel and I drove two of those for 230,000 to 250,000 miles or so. So, all total I'm pushing 850,000 miles behind the wheel of Toyota trucks. While not perfect, they have been incredibly reliable.

No modification plans for the new truck at this time other than possibly a camper shell. I plan to use the new truck for off road travel and camping, aka "overlanding" so I will be asking questions about possible modifications for that purpose.

    Thanks...

Finally took photos of my 2020. IMG-7262.jpg IMG-7265.jpg at work yesterday. Still researching options as far as shells or racks. My first "build" piece came in yesterday at my local REI. Garmin Overlander GPS. Set it up and did updates last night, today will be the first day to use it. So far, so good.
