It's just a gown, basically. No belt, no sleeves, no legs, and it's more or less tear-proof so you can't shred it down into strips (so there's nothing you can use to hang yourself with)

Naples FL has a bar called Foxboro's, family owned from MA residents. Lot of Boston sports decor too and they have the Yankee logo in the urinal.

Still can't believe Carruth is a free man today..especially after all the issues his child has from his actions.

I wonder if having Dee Ford will help with familiarity against the Chiefs O-line and Mahomes since he practiced against them since being drafted. That goes both ways but maybe more one than the other. Being a first round pick and getting traded for a second round pic won't hurt his motivation any either.

ACL - cheap shot low blow by KC's Bernard Pollard. The team still went 11-5 but missed the playoffs.

I've had the unfortunate privilege of having to wear this thing myself.

When I caught my charge I was 2 8- balls into a wild meth binge... when they arrested me they put me on suicide watch for my safety.

You're literally in a cell with that smock ( we called it the "turtle suit") a blanket made of the same stuff... and a plastic bunk (the "boat") with a built in mat made of guess what... yep... same material.

It was 16 days of straight hell.

Dont worry... I learned my lesson... drugs are bad...mmmkay.

Oh man, sorry to dredge that memory back up for you.. Glad you made it out alive.

Congrats on getting to this point where you can throw it out there and on you getting away from that lifestyle.

    Don't forget.

Most people tell me when I bring up that point in my life...

"Man that must have sucked... why do you talk about it... dont you want to forget all that?!"

To which i respond... that is the last thing i want to do. I happened... can't change it. And most of it sucked pretty hardcore...But those who forget their past are doomed to repeat it. I'd much rather keep that a once in a lifetime experience.

I have many mementos from that time... heck I still drink out of the coffee cup I had in the slammer. Makes sure I keep it fresh... just in case I think it might be a good idea to relapse or something.

    Now... back to football.

I just celebrated 8 years sobriety in December, learned it from my dad but I’m responsible for me. So glad that’s not me anymore, don’t have a problem with others drinking, I just can’t do it without getting hammered.

One day at a time turns into weeks, to months, then to years.

Thanks and congratulations to you too!
