I purchased this kit around 2015 and have used it on my truck flawlessly up until 2019 when I replaced them. The reason I replaced them is that the housings have multiple broken tabs, the lenses are trashed, and I had an extra set of OEM housing that I wanted to build the retrofits in.

With this in mind, you will likely have no desire to purchase these and bolt them right to the truck. The projectors will need to be removed and swapped into a new set of housings. Now, here is the great part about this.... If you have ever done a retrofit before then you'll know that the hardest part is installing the projector to the bowl and getting it aligned. Once that is finished then its easy to put the bowl back in the housing and seal it up. So, although the housings and lenses are garbage, the projectors are perfectly mounted and aligned to the bowls already. All you need to do is purchase new housings, open them up, paint the shroud if desired, drop in these bowls/projectors, and seal your new housing back up. Then its like a brand new retrofit again. Heck, I can even help do this for you if needed.

Projector Details:

• D2S 3.0 (O Lens/LHD) from The Retrofit Source
• Gatling Gun shrouds (already mounted and painted black)
• 35w D2s 3Five 5000k bulbs
• BRAND NEW MotoControl BiXenon H4/9003 wiring harness
• 1 Morimoto 3Five Long Cord XB Ballast
• 1 off brand no name D2S ballast (works perfectly)
• Half used pack of RetroRubber Butyl Resealing Glue (Gray color. You might need more)

What you get:

• Everything listed above
• Projectors pre-installed in old busted housings
• Reusable interior parts of the headlights are the entire shroud (factory painted black), clear corner lenses and turn signal lenses, black painted bowl with projector pre-installed and aligned perfectly

Kit was $330 brand new from TRS without housings, I paid $247.50 with a group buy price plus $120 for the housings. You are paying less than the price of the retrofit kit already and you get to skip the tedious labor and most difficult part of the install. Again, ill help swap the kit to new housings and even help install them if needed.
