Good Morning all , glad to be on forum
Like I stated my left door will not open , replaced handle couple years ago with 1 from A-! Auto . Well being the dumb ass i am tried playing with power doors switch and pillars on door lock , now the door is closed , looking for someone with more experience than this dumb ass . guess i need to remove seats, floor trim and pry of door panel . But after you have a good laugh , does anyone know of a better way and possibly a video to help a newbie out ?

is the issue that it is locked and wont unlock/open or the handle wont open the unlocked door? If it wont unlock I would spend a few minutes with a slim jim before disassembling the door panel.

Tried slim jim with locksmith as well as local dealer. This worked on 2 hours couldn't not get the door open, they wanted to spend a couple more hours on it , but at hourly rate wasn't willing too , was told remove seat , door trim and try to pull panel ...
Thought their might be a video showing shortcut hopefully

Let me see if this is Correct.

Your left door would not open I am guessing it was locked.

You tried to open just what happened??

Then you fiddled with things to the point it now does nothing??

I have had this happen one time Nasty Divorce the wife Super Glued maybe Epoxy the door to the striker.

The Door was removed in pieces .

Is something like this possible ?? Enemies pissed off people a Prank gone to far?

The only way I can understand a Lock Smith unable to get in.

My tundras door got stuck when the window track pressed against the lock.

had to remove the seats and console. It did damage the door panel trying to get the thing off. Screws couldnt be reached with the dash in the way. But I did get it opwn

    WELCOME to TW!

I think it’s just a little plastic fastener that holds the lock mechanism together. It may have come apart. I had it happen on my old S10 and had to take the door somewhat apart to fix. Not hard but a bit of a pain.
