(Floated the parts guy a stock tail light to replace his broken one, been getting the golden boy discount ever since )

 

NEW INSPECTION STICKER TIME.... Lol!

Got her ready for her date with the old state inspector today.

- Replaced burnt out third brake light
- Replaced broken parking brake cable
- Pulled tint off the front windows (which I will reinstall 5 minutes after I get my stcker, lol!)
- Put on her baby shoes (Lol!)

Side note, I would love to meet the Toyota Engineer who designed the parking brake system on 2nd gen's with automatic transmissions, so I can kick him strait in the nuts!!!! Lol!

 

Home Depot With my son.

changed my oil, with my son. (Just hit 140k miles)

I got this one of FBMP. It wasn’t OEM (couldn’t tell from pictures till I saw in person) and was in sand pearl. Had to have a local guy paint it 202 for me. Ended up costing slightly less than if I had just ordered from the dealer. Either way makes a big difference.

 

Great Dad moments there. Mine helped me with the diff oil change today. You’d have thought we conquered the world!

 

I replaced my front brakes with the EBC stage 3 slotted rotors/green stuff pads. Forgot to take pics before wheels were back on. I read the torque spec wrong on the 12mm bolt that holds the brake line to the spindle. That's 44 in lb, not ft lbs. At least when I got a new bolt at Napa, I was also able to get a second set of spring clips to keep things from rattling.

Technically not my tacoma but I'll allow it since this project was inspired by it.
And without the tacoma there'd be no need for a quad trailer.

Replaced a broken tail with a new set, added 2 led light bars.
All with reverse.
I was gonna go clear tails on the trailer until I saw these with the reverse light option.

Every little bit helps back there.

Everybody who hates wiring ESPECIALLY trailer wiring, show of hands......now

Hey jungleman, what LED light bar did you install on your Tacoma under the tail gate? I'm definitely interested in keeping people from running into the back of me...lol

edit: btw @whatstcp I just wanted to let you know that I think you are one of the coolest people on TW. I really like the way you express yourself and help others. I read the "stuck in octilla" thread about 45 minutes after you did and had the timeframe been closer we would have met at that time.

Where did you get that sticker from?

 

So my new camper came with these connctors and i dont know what there for. I think there for unlocking it with the key fob. But idk. If so how would i wire it up? would appreciate the help

 

More than likely they are for a third brake light.
