Headlight issue

Has anyone ever had their headlights and dash go dark randomly?

Was driving down a dark road last night, hit my turn signal and my headlights and dash went out. Came back on a few moments later..

headlight switch ON (not on auto)

 

Completely dark or just dimmed ?

 

Loose or bad fuse? I'd probably start there.

 

Complete darkness. It was rather scary I won't lie.

 

Didn't think of that.

Im about to head out and dig into it and see if there's any possible rodent damage. Thats the only thing I can think of at this point.

 

Did this happen after you installed different headlights?

I seen another thread here where someone mentioned a similar issue. Turned out to be the stalk which seems right inline with where your issue presented itself. Do a search, I think there was a recall on a bad batch.

 

Wish that was the case. I changed out the bulbs last year but that's about it.

 

I should know better. Thanks, Ill give it a search.
