I think that would be spectacular but have very high doubts.

I only wonder about the 500HP. Does it even need that? The current one has less than 400, I think.

The other two things seem extremely possible. And we've seen/heard the hybrid sounds on the test mules already, no?

There are absolutely no charging stations anywhere I drive and I live in a area with a million plus people. Like has already been said I will be dead before they figure out the battery charge/life/distance issue so I’ll keep going combustion gas guzzler been working for me for over 40 years.

Nebraska certainly has conventional (and Tesla) charging stations along the major arteries. But they seemed to be set up for people passing through the state, not living there. I think that's telling. Also, plenty of people drive electrics (Bolt, Ioniq) and find them working just fine in cold weather spots up there (Michigan, places in British Columbia, etc.).

I've seen more Canadians say they preferred a LB OR, but not available there. Toyota really screwed the pooch with omitting that model up north. Makes 0 sense.

The gas station I stopped at on Friday only had 2 charging stations and neither was being used. I've also noticed that residential parking garages only have 1 to 3 charging stations in the entire garage.

Neg. rubbish range at 30mins (IF you’re lucky to find a supercharger) per “fuel up”. An 8hr road trip will take 11hrs.

I had an opportunity to drive a top of the line Model S with ludicrous mode. Truly mind blowing!

With 20 years experience with hybrids, I expect that the next gen Tundra will have a mild hybrid offering. Maybe a V6 turbo(s) rwd, with electric motor(s) for 4x4, starting from a stop assist, and highway cruising. And then the Taco eventually gets the 4 cylinder turbo hybrid version.

If I was calling the shots at Toyota, they would also offer a 3/4ton version of the Tundra as well as a 1/2 ton. Tacoma could get a HD version, 1/2ton equivalent.

you are so correct. I am waiting for Tacoma to come out with its first hybrid. I see more and more cars and trucks going electric. The future is here so get ready. Those of you who want continue being bitter and holding on to your guns and Bible knock yourself out. You will just be left out watching progress past you by

Guns and Bibles have contributed more to progress than any hybrid ever will.

I also wonder about the electrical grid capacity in many areas if everybody started charging their cars every night. Especially, say, on a humid summer evening with everybody cranking their air conditioning.

One thing that will help that is the constant improvement and gradually lowering buy in cost of home solar. Power your car and house for free once the system is paid off.

Are you sure about that. Just look at the dead bodies across the American landscape that can be seen on a daily basis. Wake up. The problem I find with so many people is that they are programmed and conditioned by the media and government. Neither one really gives a hoot about you me or anyone else. People just fail to get their heads out of their rear ends and would rather listen and absorb the propaganda and self serving addenda crap instead of seeking out the truth for themselves. Stop listening to Fox News and CNN and these other news channels because really they are part of the overall problems we have in society today. You may not like electrical cars and trucks but within the next 15 years that will be your only choice so embrace it and move on.

I was referring more to contributions toward the advancement of western civilization over the last 2000 years (the bible's influence), and things such as the American Revolution (the gun's influence).

Good rant though, hope you feel better getting that out!

It must be taboo around here to say that climate change is real and the reason for the emergence of hybrids, EVs, PHEVs etc... is that we need to stop burning fossil fuels.
