Just installed 285/75-16 Cooper S/T Maxx. For those asking whether this size will fit stock height, don’t even think about it. I went from 1.5 to 2.5 on my adjustable coil overs to make these fit. Removed that silly front plastic dohicky under the bumper and removing mud flaps are a must. There was still rubbing on a turning bounce at the very bottom back part of the fender flares. That went away by trimming about an inch down there. Now no more rubs what so ever as long as I stick to malls for right now. Will soon find out on first truck trail since getting these larger tires.

255/75/17 4S on 4Runner Offroad wheels with stock suspension. Had a slight rub on front mud flaps full lock turning into drive. Need to get speedo recalibrated though. Does anyone know the best way to do this: dealer, etc.?4B275143-A78E-4B70-B43F-E33DFD475BFF.jpg 681D60D9-0CF0-48D4-BE1C-E05F361286E4.jpg FFCEBFDD-58CA-474B-900F-EA6F9E6EDE32.jpg

    re-upped my AT3LTE's.

i so love these tires, both these and STMaxx in 265/65-17 E range.

i get about 20k miles from a set. that's how much i love them. this is my fourth set of Coopers in this spec on 60k miles with the truck. 2 sets of STMaxx and 2 sets of AT3LT's. time to burn down another grand.

You only get 20k miles out of the AT3 LT’s? Is this how you drive?

    32” Tires, BPF Front Recovery

People have different opinions on when a tire is done. Fails inspection = done, or Not providing good traction = done. I’ve taken Cooper A/T R tires (discontinued when A/T 3 came out) out to 40k miles and it was too much, wet traction went to hell and forget off-road/snow/mud. But they still had 4/32”.

so I’d agree and consider dumping my tires at 20k-30k. Remember, 4x4 and traction computers and stability control is only able to utilize what traction already exists, under your tires. Tires are 90% of the equation.

Mods are currently being changed .....
I think I might change from Duratracs to XLT's this time around. I've had duratracs on for probably 95k miles. Has anyone else made this same switch? Impressions?
