Upgrading my '12 to a 2020 very soon and the more I read about Entune, the more I want to upgrade the head unit. The one thing the factory unit does have going for it is that it's a perfect, flush fit.

Was looking at the Alpine Halo9 iLX-F309 but the floating screen design is a dealbreaker, just looks so out of place for the user yet inviting for thieves since it sticks out so much. I would MUCH rather something that fits flush like the factory unit without big openings behind it where dirt can get in.

Seriously considering the Alpine INE-W987HD but saw no threads on it in this forum on online. Would love to see how it looks installed in a 3rd Gen.

    Decals!
Don't forget the cost of a full Maestro system to retain the factory functions.

Their online page features a third gen Tacoma but no pictures of an install. The people are certainly happy!
