Hey guys. Found some old threads on the topic, but a lot of them have dead links or were inconclusive.

I have the fake beadlock rims from the TX TRD edition trucks. I didn’t think to ask about the key for the locking lugs when I bought the truck and now I’m a little SOL. I found the official Toyota kit for an arm and a leg, but I’m really only looking to replace the 4 locking lugs instead of all 24.

Is the linked kit the proper replacement? It’s the cheapest I found that’s Toyota branded and I’d rather just snag these than mess with the McGard ones that I read sometimes cause issues based on coatings and whatnot.

McGard makes these for Toyota. I just bought a set of the TRD lugs for these wheels and the keys literally say "McGard" on them. It may or may not be easy to find the exact right ones... I did a quick search via the online toyota catalog and there are tons of options for buying whole sets or just pieces. It could be worth just going to Toyota and asking as well.

The ones in your link look correct to me but I don't know if they might have a couple of different versions that are slightly different. If you shoot me a reminder I can check mine to see if there's a p/n printed on it, perhaps you could look that up and just buy for cheap directly from McGard.

There’s a ton of variations and part numbers out there. I’ll probably call the service rep I was working with when they put on my tires and check part numbers with him.

I’ve heard of people having success with the McGard sets that just aren’t Toyota branded. I believe the proper size is 12x1.5? The Toyota listings don’t give specific specs.
