I bought a tiny piece of land a few months back. It's got this little bump of a hill on it. With my last truck it was a 4x4 so it was no big deal. This one isn't a 4x4 (yet) and it's been a biatch to climb. Today I got it, with a whole lot of tireS spinnin. Yep, I looked into the driver's side rear view mirror and I saw rocks flying. I thought to myself that's not possible...

BOOM! My stock Prerunner SR5 has a limited slip. I am very happy about that.

I finally officially got started making parts for sale today and I spent hundreds of dollars doing it. I can't freakin wait to present them. Now if I could only get my contractor for my new home equally motivated... . The sob got my wife to cry on her 50th birthday, makes me so f_____ angry.... the contractor and myself are both lucky I'm older now.

 

It looks like it but no, there is a gasket that compresses against the lip of the tailgate.

 

Installed a catch can today and replaced the rear drums And pads! Everything went well! I just need to replace the fasteners on the catch can. I ran out my good ones.

 

Would you post a picture of that gasket for me please? Thank you.

 

Damnit TW is expensive, this one's gonna cost me even more!

Ya, my first set took about 2 weeks to do due to my lack of time. The second set only took 2 days

I need to do both of these.... how many miles on your rear drums? I'm thinking I might replace the pads when I do my rear stainless brake lines

 

That’s fair. I’m sure I could do them a lot quicker now that I know what I’m doing. A retro with no halos and keeping everything chrome would be no problem in an afternoon... but that wouldn’t be as fun.

Painting In rainy/cold weather is what’s been killing me.

 

How many miles do you have? I’ve only had to do my rear drums once and I have 135k. Just had to resurface the drums and they’re still perfectly fine

 

It will be a day or two due to ice snow and cold weather.

 

Changed out the infamous needle bearing and replaced it with the famous ECSG bearing. Had a rotational hum between 20-40 mph. A real PITA to do but it is a one man job.

 

Just broke 130k

I just asked my ex-sister in law to demonstrate my Tacoma products for me in video and she said yes! She is a drop dead bombshell with a great attitude and she's intelligent. If there's anything that'll cause a ruckus it's a woman... she's been in movies and was a professional model not too long ago.
