No I don’t, that was over 30 years ago before cell phones. I’ve got some hard copies somewhere.

 

I have a Massey Ferguson 431. Use it for planting my dove fields and deer food plots and our "garden", bush hogging, boxblading the driveway, moving heavy stuff with the boom arm, etc etc etc. Just general country livin.

Nice rigs. I did have a 80's Kubota, sold it as wasn't getting enough snow to make use of it. Loved the sound of the diesel, loud for such a little motor. My uncle in Minnesota has fixed up 5 I believe, just leases the farm to his S-I-L.

Always wanted one of those with a loader.

 

I got it off my brother who only had it a year, he couldn't find a tiller to hook to it. I only kept it a couple years, 13 horses couldn't do much like lifting. Thought the fuel pump or something related was acting up, had forgot it had a foot throttle on the right, my foot kept bumping it when I would get positioned. Tractor would speed up, then slow down. Too funny.

Mostly restored '51 Super A; just waiting on new liner seals to bolt things back together.

 

I made them out of 2 1966 round fender 110’s. I’ve actually made 3 but a guy who had the 430 Diesel wanted the first one I built so I traded him. I always wanted a 430 so it worked out. I have a 3 cylinder Kubota diesel motor setting in the shop. I’m going to make something with it after I retire.

 

They are pretty fun and people like seeing them at shows. A lot easier to haul and take to shows than the full size tractors. I was raised farming with 4020’s and 3020’s. My absolute favorite tractor of all time!

 

My dad gave my son this 110 when he was a year old (he’ll be 8 in March), we got it out this summer and gave it a bath. It’s never failed to start.

I built a mini unstyled G on steel, I have pictures on my computer I’ll share tomorrow. I need to paint it, other than that it’s done.

 

I’ll look forward to seeing those pics!

Has 130 hours on it.

1955 International Lo Boy Cub

 

Found some pictures of the miniature John Deere G I made. I worked on it off and on for a while. Still need to put a two cylinder style throttle on it and paint it.

The transmission (has 6 forward and two reverse) is out of a wheel horse as is the engine.

The clutch handle is off of a JD H and the pulley (I made) turns and stops with the belt.

The oil bath air breather is functional and came off a JD R pony engine.

The fan is off of a JD B.

The rear wheels came off of a Monarch tiller, the fronts came off of wheelbarrows, took me forever to find two the same. I bent and welded the ring on them like the originals. I made the axle extensions at work (I work in a machine shop). The steering box, a friend gave me off an old cub cadet and I had to modify it to work.

I made the radiator sides out of channel iron, the core is an old radiator cut down. The top of the radiator is the gas tank and holds about a gallon.

The seat, my dad gave me off an old tobacco planter.

 

The 11 bar grill Cubs are my favorites, F-Cubs or Lo boys, and a woods 42 to go with it, Nice!

 

was my Granddad’s...he left it to me. I use to sit in his lap and drive to cut the yard. I’ll never part with it.

I completely disassembled it and rebuilt it. I need to upload a new picture...a few more accurate per the piece components now.

 

That’s awesome, the JD A I posted pictures of, I drove it home when dad bought it when I was about 11. He eventually gave it to me and I restored it about 25 years ago. It’s a 1949, the same year he was born. I wanted to get a picture of him and my two kids on it and that’s the picture on here.

Anybody ever seen a Schramm?

Long story short I did a welding job for a guy and bought this one. It belonged to the U.S. Navy and still had the brass tag and one tire had U.S.N. on it.

Years later I found the tow behind unit that was exactly the same and they were only a couple hundred serial numbers apart.

They are air compressors, they have 6 cylinder engines and 3 run the engine, 3 are air. Both are 160 CFM and move some air. I was told the tractor moved planes on aircraft carriers and were used to spin the air impellers to crank the planes, if that's true I don't know.

I sold them both last year, we used to ride the tractor through parades and I would park it in the front yard and put Christmas lights all over it then it sat the rest of the year, had to make some room.

Schramm is still in business and makes drill rigs now.
