so I got my tacoma straight pipe today I ain’t want to pay for the cats. It sounds good not loud can’t even tell they are missing. It reacts way much quicker than before. Eventually I will go back to stock and get the cats.

If you run a proper muffler it wont be that loud, unless they steal that too lol.

I'll assume you have a check engine light too probably. Watch out for the smell, if you warm up your truck in the garage for a long time it'll stink it up bad.

I used to have no cats with stock muffler on my 86 a few years ago, was basically the same volume as stock, but I had to reverse immediately out of the garage so it wouldn't stink it up.

Didn't even know people still stole catalytic converters..

Seems drastic, is the hood that bad, you're certain you'll get ripped off again? Seems like if it was that bad they'll just steal the whole damn truck next time, but I hope that doesn't happen.

if you find them your truck has a 6400 lb tow rating. Be sure to test it out on them.

    All the things!
Get an IFS and mid skid. The mid will cover up your cats and "prevent" future theft.

Plus... an excuse to armor up!
