I have a 2015 DCSB V6 6 speed manual that I personally installed a Magnuson Supercharger into so that I would still have plenty of power as I continue to add weight to the truck in the form offroad and camping equipment. Adding a snorkel was always part of the plan but it's come to my attention that a snorkel will restrict air flow so I'm wondering if anyone has any info on how much loss I can expect if I add an ARB Safari Snorkel?

I cant remember where I read about the ARB Safari snorkel in regards to super charging. I bought the Safari snorkel due to the fact that it allowed for increased airflow as compared to other snorkels on the market at that time as to not design out the possibility of boosting my engine at some time in the future. At the time I bought my snorkel, all other manufacturers were running 8in dia piping and the ARB offered a 10in duct and touted the option to work with super chargers. I'll keep looking but I'm fairly positive that you'll be fine.

If it's good enough for XO, it's good enough for you.

Yeah I seem to remember reading that a long time ago now that you mention it. I've also watched that video probably 50 times because XO is who motivated me to buy a Tacoma and much of my build has been inspired by they're gen 2 build. That's also why it didn't really occur to me until recently that the loss of airflow may be worthy of consideration.

I don't believe you'll be seeing much in the way of air flow restriction if you went with the Safari snorkel but if you dropped a popcorn bowl (precleaner) on the inlet, you might see some restriction. Just pull the trigger already, buy it and install it and be happy. Put a duck call in it, quack your way to 100 smiles per hour.
