2009 Silver Tacoma TRD SPORT, PRERUNNER, SR5, DC

Anyone had any luck connecting the iDatalink sT01 satellite radio adapter to the factory satellite antenna? I have a hard time believing that it is compatible with the 2010 model year but not the 09.

I'm trying to connect my new Kenwood DDX9906XR to the factory Sat. Antenna in my 09 Tacoma. Anyone had any luck or have any suggestions?
