Yeah sure thing!! You're going to want to get a depinning tool for these connectors. Also get ya some male and female connectors the op gave us part numbers for.

Cool! Glad you got it working. I just realized what was going in the 1st attempt and why it didn’t work right. Somehow, earlier, I was thinking you were tying into the RF door actuator circuit, when actually you were just tying the RF wire into the LF circuit. If I would have thought about it a little harder, I should have realized that you can’t tie 2 wires and 2 fusebox terminals together with a 2:1 harness. LOL. It’s probably safer to do it the way you did it with a 4:1 harness. Good job!

Thanks! Makes me wonder if I have the only 2nd gen dub cab that unlocks all four with one click? My Chilton's diagrams aren't as thorough as the one you showed me. What book are those in? Also, thanks for teaching me a thing or two about em.

    You just might.

I bought all 4 2006 mechanical manuals and the electrical manual on ebay. They’re normally pretty expensive, but I found a good deal.

Here’s the 2005 electrical manual for your truck.

Airport, plan on doing it this afternoon. So you had to depin 3 blue/black wires from plug#2 and add to some color forgot which 1 into plug #1 ?

I had 2 blue wires with black tracers in the '#2 connector" it was #4 and #5 on the top pic below:

    They were the same gauge.

And then I had to unpin #2 on the F1 connector on the front of the ECU (side with the fuses). It was another blue wire with black tracer, same gauge.
I verified it was the right one with a multimeter while cycling the door locks.

So you have 3 blue/black wires that need to be fed into #3 on the A connector as shown below on the bottom picture. As well as the original wire feeding A3. It was blue/black as well.

Ending up with a 4:1 y connector into the #3 pin on the A connector (or the #1 connector as the op labeled it).

Hope this helps. It was kind of a pain because there's not much room under there.

Cool thread! It’s what make TW unique:thumbsup:.

I’m thinking @05Taco4x4 might want to edit the first post to add the link to @airport7 ’s post #47 and state this is what you do for 4 doors.

    Terrific stuff @Muddinfun .

    Good job @airport7

Just wondering if the 4-1 into 1 circuit could cause a problem down the road? Maybe not
I haven’t done it yet wondering if it will open a can of worms? I’m no expert at all and it may not
    be an issue?

Im no electrician but I dont see it causing any issues if done right (heat shrink and securing everything properly). Also, if the connectors are depinned properly, you can always just install them back into the original connectors and put it back to normal pretty easy

No you're not. You're just being cautious and thinking it through

Airport 7, just checking in to see if door unlocks are still doing good?

Sometimes tagging them helps get a quicker response.

Yes sir! Everything is working great! The only surprise so far is that if you unlock with the fob, the doors automatically lock themselves if the door isn't opened within approximately 30 seconds. I'm sure most people know this already. I just never had a fob with my truck until I programmed one along with doing this mod.
