Totally agree! Sony car audio sucks! High end Alpine and Fujitsu are about the only stand outs now. Lol, even the low end Alpine are crap now. Personally, I still run a Fijitsu, can't beat them, but I want to switch to Android, but I can't find one worth a damn. It would have to have front, rear, sub RCA's with adjustable output voltage and freq controls, be able to USB tether for data, be able to be rooted and run custom apps, have USB inputs and multi BT sync. If you come across one, let me know

I was 1000% committed to keeping mine bone stock when I bought it. After a few months decided I was going to do JUST wheels and tires and while researching what would fit came across Tacomaworld. While it's far from the biggest, baddest truck on here, it sure as hell isn't bone stock anymore.

 

Thanks for the help. I just plunked down for the correct Plug and Play Harness. It's been my experience with other systems that the factory wiring is way more robust and professional than any wiring harness I can put together. Plus, we're no audiophiles (I can't hear anything because of 80's punk and thrash metal) so just want some modern features (Bluetooth, backup cam, etc.) and to call it a day.

If I'm still lost after the PNP harness arrives, I'll hit you guys up. Thanks!

on topic....I've been driving the shit out of my truck across Wisconsin and Minnesota the last two weeks, and I love it. Don't like adding the miles.

And it's good to know my tailgate isn't going anywhere but with the truck...
