I am currently having a problem with my tacoma and i was wondering if any of you have had this issue before and if so how do i go about fixing it. So maybe 3 months ago I decided to change my spark plugs and after i did i noticed that my truck started having a misfire around 30 mph when im crusing. However if im stepping on it there is no misfire at all the truck runs normal. No check engine light has came on and it idles normally. I cant seem to figure out what it is, is it the fact that i went from ngk spark plugs back to the oem toyota ones? Is it that i might of switch the ignition coils from different cylinders? Or is it that i need new coils over all? Any help is much appreciated thanks.

wouldn't hurt to swap ignition coil see if one was bad. in my case misfire #2 it was head gasket but there was rough idle. I should of swapped the coils instead of buying new one. live and learn

Sorry to hear about your troubles....Let see if we can help.

I'm wondering if when you scanned the truck did a code appear and if so what was it. Second to that I don't believe the type of spark plug will cause a misfire but a bad spark plug will. On that same line, I would also suggest checking your coil packs as well. If you could scan the vehicle (OBDII) for any codes would be helpful. Will show which plug/cylinder is misfiring.
Good Luck and keep us all posted....

Yep, get a code scanner, there not expensive and can save you money on repairs.
