3 1 week trips + Jambo. Done and done!

 

I've camped more than one weekend per month last year, so I'm trying to raise that to 2 weekends per month minimum.

 

In 2018 I camped for like 120 days and in 2019, I camped like only a few weeks... Maybe 30 days max.

I need to up my numbers too! #rookienumbers

 

This one piston on the driver side caliper seems to have that clip in a different place than the other Pistons

 

Woot, got the ring back on. Front end is done!! Putting the wheels back on now

Woot! Front end is almost buttoned up. Just need to torque the lugnuts once it's on the ground woot!!

 

Nice! So what's left? Put the rear back together?

 

I've got to get the drivers OEM shackle hanger off the rear and the heavy lifting is done for this round. Clean up that area and install the hammer hangers

Gonna be putting on the face shield here shortly to tackle that


And I'm gonna need to score the hardware for the cross tube

 

The cross tube didnt come with hardware for install?

I bought it 2nd hand and dude didn't include it. No biggie. Should be able to score some at the Ace

 

Ah okay. That makes sense. You going to use grade 8 hardware?

 

So, the kit came with zinc coated class 10.9 hardware which from my research is similar to grade 8. Luckily, the lowes in Bee Cave has the grade 10.9 zinc in 12mm x 35mm which is .5" x 1.5" (which is what i need) so I believe I will go with those

 

Sweet. When I try to explain bolts and thread pitches and stuff over the phone, no one local knows what I'm talking about.

 

its kind of complicated... thank goodness for the intertubes!

 

I cant double check anything you want about the hardware if you need, I still havent installed my crossbar yet.

Looking good. Your spindles nearly match your ucas. With all this front end work you did I'm surprised you didn't replace the lcas too
