So unfortunately my wife and I got a bad accident when a lyft driver turned left right in front of us. We survived and are doing ok now, but my 2006 DBSB did not survive! So I got 2018 TRD sport cement this time around and I love it! Also never did a build thread of my other truck so I thought I’d give it a shot time this around.

the day we picked it up from the dealership!

first thing I did was buy a pro grill! Got it from Tacomabeast. I didn’t like the look of the glossy garnish so cut some flat black plastic and set it between the sensor and the grill.

next thing I did was plastidip the badges

then I needed some more sound! So I had the FlowMaster super 10 put in and it makes this little v6 sound pretty damn good!

then a couple months later and with all the good deals from Black Friday going on I pieced together my kit and had it all put on at once! This is how she’s sitting today

Well, I wish I could say we walked away without injury, my left shoulder was dislocated and labrum/rotator was torn and my wife fractured her sternum from the seatbelt, we both had gnarly whiplash as well. But still, going 50 hitting this dude with no time to stop, I think we are very lucky indeed. And thanks! I love my Tacoma, it’s definitely much different than my 2006 but I wouldn’t trade it
