    What happened to your current bumper

    Do you have to paint it to match to look the same as before

    Backed into a fence post, ripped part of the plastic off, and bent it slightly; No I do not not have to repaint it...

    I put a dent in the side of my truck with my knee while unloading cinderblocks at Puck once; I pushed out the dent with my bare hand and it got smaller...

    A coworker dented it doing the same thing I was doing; I never fixed it (dent can still be seen in left rear fender behind wheel well)!

    And like I said, I scored a kick panel and step plate for ten bucks, out of that wrecked white 2010 RC I showed you pictures of!

    Yes, but the specific trim panel that I want is clean; I will thoroughly disinfect before installing in my truck. I would NEVER take any cloth or carpeting from that truck (the seat was cannibalized long before that truck went to its final resting place), but plastic parts should be fine. I'm tempted to take the entire dashboard and keep it as a spare.

    @shakerhood

    Do you think I should take the plastic bits from that truck? I would not trust the airbags because the electrical parts are probably corroded...

    I wouldn't mess with it unless you really need a piece from it.

    All I need is the kick panel/step plate...

    I know the stealership would have charged over a hundred bucks for it (maybe more than $200). I have to drive a little under an hour to a family friend's salvage yard to pick up the part, then clean it off/disinfect it, and install it; For ten bucks!

    I'm honestly crying now; Thinking about Mandy...

    You know I value my Tacoma more than life itself and I actually put the idea of selling it to help pay for a kidney transplant on the table.

    Luckily my dad said that would not be necessary, because he said he would have paid for all of it if there was a guaranteed success rate; It would have been like twenty grand to do the operation and my dad said he would have paid cash if it was guaranteed she would have lived a decade or more.
