    Obviously the symbol should be a big globe, maybe a satellite or maybe a space anchor? I’m thinking white or better yet yellow, just so the symbol stands out in the dark of space.

    Will this do? wonder if the white part is reflective? or just radioactive, dipped in oil well brine fluid.

    i'm guessing one of the things they may have to teach space cadets, is there really are no lines of latitude and longitude visible on the planet.

    DISNEY. I think they have a simulator available for training already.
