What is the best gearing for my Tacoma?

I want to re gear my truck but I just don’t know that much about that kind of stuff and looking for some suggestions on gearing I should go to. I have a 05 Tacoma prerunner and about to upgrade to 33 inch tires. I have no after market bumpers yet.

 

I'd drive it for a while with the stock gears before deciding. You may decide it isn't worth changing the gears.

Auto or 6-speed manual?

Stock is 3.73
Most common regears are 4.56 and 4.88 with 4.10 and 4.30 becoming more popular. It all depends on your specific truck and what you are or aren’t planning on doing to it.
