Air Intake "Gasket" Question

Does anyone know if there is a replacement (or DOY fix) for the foam "gasket" on the air intake tube that goes through the passenger side wall just behind the window washer reservoir? Mines shot and it vibrates a lot when the engine starts up. Very annoying.

 

I took the bolts out that secures the intake down and wedged cardboard under the intake so that when I rebolted it down it had no play at all and it's been quiet ever since

 

I think I used 1/2” wide weather stripping.

 

Home depot will have weather stripping with sticky on one side should work like a charm for ya.

 

So no replacement gasket. Got it.

I will find some thick weatherstripping then.

I just wrapped the end going into the fender in electrical tape and then put some new adhesive on the old foam gasket- free and no more rattling.

 

Unfortunately my foam is all jacked up and not reusable. I guess I replaced the air filter and spark plugs too many times and messed it up!
