    75s only rub the mudflap. I've flexed my truck every which way, no issues.

    Okay. So you've had P-Metric/SL and E-rated tires. Have you ever had something in between on your truck? I lived with E-rated tires for a very long time. Key words are "lived with". Compared to C rated tires, the E's ride like GARBAGE.

    I bought a set of 17's just so I could run the Falkens in a C-load. Lighter than my old E-rated tires and are 6 ply instead of 10 ply - the ride is PHENOMENAL!

    One mans garbage is another mans treasure, lol.

    D rated tires would be a decent compromise, but honestly when we have people here saying they only see a ~1mpg difference between a C and E tire, I don’t think it really matters. Ds also don’t have a lot of options, but if you see a tire you like in a good tread pattern in a D, I say go for it.
