    seems like a great way to brick an ecu, by not putting the MY in the file name so someone doesn’t load the wrong file :rolleyes:

    It does a compatibility check with the file and your ecu. You can click the wrong one and it will say it’s incompatible with your ecu and not let you apply it. I did it when flashing mine.

    You can't permanently brick it anyway. You can always remove the ECM from the truck and do a bench flash.
