Bought the truck in May of 19, recently having the shuddering at 30-35 when accelerating as normal. If I get into the pedal it does not shudder at all.

I have read the many threads on this issue and I did not seem to find anyone that had a solution.

Checked u-joints, have no play and greased. Changed carrier/support bearing.

Checked rear transmission mount and thinking I will change it next but seem to just be “throwing” parts at it with no end in site

    No lift kit.

I read about the issues with driveline angles some owners were having.

Do a transmission fluid replacement. 2010 here with 118K and had a shudder around 40 MPH. Gone after trans fluid replaced. Couple good threads here about how to do it.

I did the fluid change last night. Helped tremendously. I am also going to add the 2oz. of Shutter fix.

Appreciate your reply and all other threads on Tacoma World talking about this issue.

Tacoma World helped me as well - this is what I did to fix my transmission shudder:

I mostly felt my shudder at around 25-35 mph during light/normal acceleration).
I did 4 drain and fills, plus added 15 oz Lubeguard Premium and (2) two ounce tubes of Lubeguard shutter fix. After first test drive, I still noticed the shutter but it was less frequent and less intense. During second test drive, the shutter was all gone! I followed several instructional threads on this site and got help from Tacoma World member GearCruncher as well - thanks.

I'm having same issue .mine wont shudder if I leave it in 4thgear .the dealer shipped changed the trans fluid and nothing changed but they also only charged me 110$ canadian.does that sound cheap or maybe they didn't change all the fluid ?thinking about doing it my self since see your progress .

    Canuck,

I really would not know if that is a cheap price or not.

I read several of the threads on here for the “drain and fill” method of changing the transmission fluid. It is somewhat of a process but once you do it a couple times it’s easy.

I drained and filled 3 times, each time getting around 2.5 quarts of oil out.

as mentioned I also added the lubeguard 2 oz of shutter fix. It has been a couple months and close to 5,000 miles and it is completely gone.

They have a YouTube video as well for the drain and fill.

good luck and if you have any questions just ask.
