    NEW 2020 BUILD

I'll try to post a timeline here as I add stuff to my 2020 Cement TRD Off-Road V6 6MT 4x4 with Premium package, Advanced Tech package, and LED upgrade. Also I'll try to include a link to the specific post for it in this thread (which hopefully I'll remember to take and add pictures for as well), a link to the TW thread where it is discussed or I got the idea from, part number, and a product link from where I got it or equivalent. None of the links are personal referral codes or anything, just informational. Hopefully if nothing else this will help people find stuff and get ideas for their own trucks!

2/25/20 - Placed order for 2020 as specified, expected 6-8 week delivery time
3/30/20 - Got word build date delayed to 5/5/20 due to covid shutdown

6/15/20 - New expected build date firmed up 7/6/20
7/6/20 - Truck finally actually got built and shipped!

OLD 2019 ARCHIVE (will prob delete this eventually, but leaving for posterity for now):

Edit2: Got the 2020. Probably going to reorganize the first few posts and clear up this first one to add links and such as I build, but haven't exactly figured out how I want to do that quite yet.

Edit: Getting a 2020 Off-Road in Cement with 6MT and all the options. It should be in later this month (July) and then I'll probably be completely redoing these first couple posts to have a clean slate!

Putting together a thread to keep track of my mods and what I have/want to do. I have a pile of stuff next to my desk that I've been holding on to for a while because I'm probably going to upgrade my 2019 to a 2020 (hopefully in a few months) due to some 3rd party issues on the 2019. Want a clean slate to start with!

So I wanted a place to track what is on my 2019 now, what I need to remove and move over to a potential 2020, mods sitting around waiting to be put in (likely waiting until I get my new 2020 truck), and finally what I might want to add in the future once things have settled!

I'll try to add links to anything so that I can find them again if needed and others can as well if they want.

Current truck: 2019 Cement TRD Sport DCSB V6 6MT 4x4 with Premium and Technology packages, OEM tri-fold tonneau

    Potential future trucks:
    - 2020 Cement TRD Off-Road DCSB V6 6MT 4x4 with Premium and Advanced Technology packages, LED headlight upgrade, LED bedlamps, no tonneau
    - 2020 Army Green TRD Pro with LED bedlamps, no tonneau

    Currently on my 2019:

    OEM accessories/mods -
    MOVED OVER Bed mat
Bed extender (not a fan, leave out most of the time)
MOVED OVER Blacked out badge overlays
    Black oval step bars
Black grill surround from an SR (replaced chrome)
    Black exhaust tip
TRD Pro shift knob (now replaced with below)
MOVED OVER Gray TRD shift knob
4Runner TRD Pro SEMA wheels (with summer tires - OE Destination 265/65R17)
    LEFT ON TRADE-IN Mud flaps
Winter rubber mats & summer carpeted mats

    Aftermarket/TW mods -
Tekonsha P3 trailer brake controller with ESP mounting plate
MOVED OVER Front license plate bracket
MOVED OVER Shift boot retainer (to hold up boot with gray knob)
LEFT ON TRADE-IN Sport wheel black vinyl stickers (with have winter tires - Blizzak 265/65R17)
    OCD console organizer
    Console tray organizer
    OCD glovebox organizer
Tailgate lock (done by 3rd party, most likely a Pop & Lock)
Full hood, front bumper, etc. clear bra
    Air Lift airbags (REMOVED)

Possible future plan dumping ground and other misc links:

    PT84K35221 - OEM lift kit
    Manual Gearbox Preservation Society
    A/C drain fix
Undercoating - Fluid Film or Krown
    Leer 100XL? topper
If no topper, then RetraxPro XR with rails is my second choice
RCI sliders, 5 degree, with top plate OR Caliraised 0 degree?
Bed Stiffeners (may be needed/wanted with topper)
    @MESO flip fob (when available)
    N2 Designs remote starter
    Dashtop multi-mount or 3TPAM
Un-Holey vent mounts and cord clips
BOUGHT Switch to Redarc trailer brake controller (etrailer link) using standard switch mounting plate and possibly works with Tekonsha 3031-P adapter (VERIFY)
Sumo springs - blue or black
INCLUDED Homelink rearview mirror (ebay link cheaper same?)
Rear behind seat organizers (TW thread)
    BOUGHT Rokblokz mud flaps
    XPel clear bra
If getting an OR, possibly add air dam back on for towing/mileage
    Redline tuning hood struts
@MESO taillight kit of some variety (or OEM TRD Pro taillights)
    @KTJO 4x4 tailgate opener
    Speaker upgrades (at least tweeters)
    Weathertech or Husky winter mats
    OVTune
Some kind of small lift (~2" to avoid extra headache of UCA, etc.) from Headstrong or elsewhere with AAL for extra capacity/towing help
PARTIALLY BOUGHT Dashcam using rearview mirror power
"Raptor" lights in grill - I know someone made adapters/mounts to put them into 2020 OR/Sport grills, but can't find the thread to link now...
AJT steering wheel emblem black overlay
    Visor decal overlay
Mirror blinker smoke overlay OR sequential full replacements
2020 style grill with 3 raptor lights (not sure if will work with 360* camera)

Door kick panel replacement clips, part number 90467-09212 from amazon or oreilly

2020+ radio knob replacement part number 90010-23059 | TW post

Put in an order for a 2020 TRD Off-Road 6MT in Cement with Premium and Advanced Tech packages and the LED headlight upgrade! Checked on Army Green Pros as well, but nearly impossible to find in a 6MT and would be MSRP or more. I was able to get get ~$3-4K discount on the OR, so the difference becomes more like $6K+ between the OR and the Pro and I can't justify that.

Expected arrival time is 6-8 weeks, so hopefully it will warm up a bit more and then I can start taking stuff off my current Sport so it is ready to trade-in and then put them on the new OR when it comes in.

    Btw, also small update...

Got my chrome bezel around the grille put back on along with the standard plastic front license plate holder. Starting to prep for trading in the 2019 Sport. Sorry didn't take any pictures, but will try to document stuff better when I'm putting it back on the 2020 OR.

Dug through my photos, and surprisingly not too many!

Here's a pic of it last summer with our camper:
    IMG_20190714_095812.jpg

Here's a couple pics I took a month or so ago of a couple things on the interior. Can't remember why, but anyway shows the shift knob and how the brake controller is mounted. Ignore the winter scuzz...:

    IMG_20200124_201448.jpg

Right now it is slightly different from the first picture. As I said I've got the chrome grille bezel and stock front license plate holder back on now. Also running my winter tires still which are Blizzaks on the original Sport wheels with the black vinyl over silver parts. If you want to see that, let me know and I can try to snap another picture of it in current state.

It's certainly not a speed demon with that trailer behind it! It takes a while to get up to speed, but once there has been good. I usually keep it in 4th and not much more than 60mph when pulling the trailer.

Emailed my sales guy to see about status on the new 2020 OR and not surprisingly the build date is pushed back due to Coronavirus and factory shutdown/repurpose. Tentatively looking at 5/5/20 as the build date now (originally it was expected to arrive in April). Hope the incentives/rebates continue to be available in May!

Btw, here are a couple pics I snapped of my truck in its current form. The wheels are the OEM Sport wheels with the black vinyl and running my Blizzak winter tires.

I was in Minnesota last year for work! Also I had Duratracs before, worked excellent in snow. A good compromise to KO2s

I'm debating on whether I really need snow tires or not. Given the truck is 4WD, I'm probably fine with just a good set of all-seasons like KO2, Wildpeak, or possibly Toyos (new A/T III's look nice). For now though I've got them so I figure I might as well run them!
