I did the same after the first day. Didn’t want to catch the steps on anything.

Yes you could but Predators are only for steps not rock slides so it would just be a piece of pipe. Not that I really needed slides. The Predators did not fit my needs. That’s why I took them off and got my money back.

I tried installing the anytime backup camera today. Once installed it wasn’t showing me the front camera only the rear. So in my trials of me trying to fix it i got a message on the dash saying lane departure malfunction contact dealer. Is this because I may have blown a fuse or is it more serious. Do I have to actually bring it into the dealer or can I just simply replace a fuse? does anyone know?

A simple enough upgrade to install.

A high lift mount and some DIY mounts.

I took the Toyota emblem off and put on these TRD stickers I impulse-bought from Etsy. I kind of like the look, I might keep them.

Solved. Couldn’t find what fuse was the lane departure connected to through google. So I decided to pull every fuse until I found the blown one. For anyone interested the fuse for Lane Departure in a 3rd gen tacoma is located in the interior fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. It’s a 7.5AMP fuse labeled ECU-IG NO. 2, third from the top.

Got my brown Katzkins in along with Weather Techs and a dash mat. Wish the dash mat was a little darker but really happy with the look overall. So much better than the light grey seats. Just hoping to get the steering wheel, shifter and e-brake boots matched with the leather seats as soon as I find someone that does that. Then I'll be done....hopefully.

Added a Thule Hideaway 8.5ft x 6.5ft hard case awning. Going to make camping a little more comfortable this year.

Seats look good. Did you install the covers or did you have a shop do the work?

Got the kit from John at Affordable Auto Leather through this site. Had Seatz in Phoenix install them after the price they gave me for the kit was way higher than John.

Thanks for the info. I am wanting to buy them and do the install myself but not sure. I have done them before on other cars but my taco only has 2,500 miles on it so it makes me nervous.
