    It's not "Jesus porn art". Geez everyone overreacted and no one payed attention to the artist. He said time and again that it was a commentary on how institutionalized religion has co-opted and corrupted the spiritual. And with that he's right on. It's like all those people who protested over Scorsese's "Last Temptation of Christ" because someone reported a scene out of context and they all went ape. Had they watched the movie, they might have realized it not only honored, it elevated Christ's surrender on the cross. But that was all lost on those who chose to hyperreact rather than rationally analyze the message.
