2017 air intake fit a 2020?

    I mean you're not going to hear it 5 blocks away like it's a 454 with straightpipes... It's meant for pedestrians with their nose in their phones so they realize something is there.

    Some EVs (Toyota Prius is one) emit a whine or a high pitched sound for people to hear the car coming. There is a speaker located at the radiator support (under the hood). It does not make diesel engine or any engine sounds. Your argument of EVs making external engine noises is wrong. Unless you can prove this exists on a production car.

    Some cars emit engine noises inside the car, through the audio system speakers.

    Ford a few years back had a tube from the engine compartment into the passenger area so the driver could hear the engine.

    Not their little skinny baby tires. They are very quiet. Now some mud terrain or all terrain tires, yes easy to hear.
