Just checking in here. I've been buried at work and I don't see it letting up for a couple of months.

Late yesterday, I purchased the LX 470 that I had looked into earlier in the week. The price was right (I think) at $3,500. I have a lot of work to do to bring this one back. Engine and drive train are solid. It just has a number of (strange to me) issues that I haven't seen before on any of my other cars. This will be another mid-life refresh project. Though, much slower moving than the Tacoma due to my current workload.

Stepper motor issues with the instrument cluster gauges. I picked up a supposed working replacement on eBay.

Tilt and telescopic steering does not work. I suspect that need to replace the electric motors. I need to fix the motor to tilt the wheel out of the way to get to the instrument cluster. I need to chase down part numbers for the motors. How could both go out at the same time?

Steering rack. It needs a new rack. I can get a new LC100 rack for $475 at McGeorge. I understand changing the rack is one hell of a job.

The AHC Suspension stuff works. I will convert it to a lift someday.

Bumpers - To be replaced with some ARBs or the likes.

The pearl paint is good and should last. It needs a good wax job.

Have no idea - my kid jacked up the samsung one we had. Check with @Empty_Lord, @Kwikvette - one other I can't recall specifically who is an A/V guy. I guess stick with LG since that is the TV you have but the A/V fanatics will have more to say.

    Do you require a soundbar?

They all sound like junk considering you have small speakers trying to replicate a dynamic soundstage.

+70% of cinema audio is played from your center channel, and is the workhorse in any surround sound system; this is why a lot of quality home theater setups use 3 front speakers vs 2 front and 1 center

Sorry I can't help with a soundbar but if you ever decide to step up from that, tag me.

Nice! That's exactly what I was looking for including the color but no luck. At least nothing under 10k. So I settled for the GX470 and even that wasn't the color I wanted but a color I still like (silver). Can't wait to see what you do to it.
